I spent a colourful childhood growing up in Perth, Scotland, UK. I was gifted the Kodak film camera by my parents at about the age of ten.
Suddenly everything was in black & white - AMAZING!!
On leaving school I started work with a Perth based photographic agency. Told if I did not make the grade within three months I would be "out the door" - stayed 15 years!
I started my own business in August 1981 specialising in "anything that moved", with a bit of still life thrown in! The company was relocated to my present, fully fitted studio in 1995.
These days, with over 40 years experience as a full-time professional photographer, I tend to find myself counting pixels rather than negatives - but not always!
